Plus, it offers all the great features that you would expect from a top-of-the-line mobile POS system, including the ability to share open orders across multiple iPads, view up-to-date sales reports, process partial and total refunds, apply and manage discount codes, use barcode scanners to scan products, use multiple modifiers for each item, capture customer information, accept credit card payments via Authorize.Net, PayPal Mobile, or iZettle, and more.

More information about the free iPad Point of Sale system is available on our website, and the FreePOS iPad POS app can be downloaded for free directly from the Apple App Store.

posIPOS 2.1.1 adds support for Authorize.Net EMV credit card processing, more

The latest version of the posIPOS point of sale app, 2.1.1, is now available for free in the Apple App Store. It adds support for processing EMV (chip) credit cards directly from the posIPOS app, when using the Authorize.Net payment gateway and the available AnywhereCommerce Walker C2X Chip Card Reader. As an alternative, posIPOS also supports EMV credit card payments via the PayPal Here and iZettle services and the corresponding chip credit card readers.

Other notable features include the ability to check the available inventory for any item directly from the posIPOS app, enhanced user roles for cashiers, store managers, and point of sale administrators, and an improved user interface for creating new orders and accepting credit card payments.

For customers that are using our point of sale solution for restaurants, fast-foods, bars or any other similar venues, posIPOS 2.1.1 adds many new exciting features, including the ability to automatically share all open orders across multiple iPad cash registers via the Apple iCloud services, an enhanced table management module with the ability to assign custom names to tables and capture the number of customers (covers) at each table, and advanced kitchen / bar printing options to automatically send each ordered item to the corresponding kitchen or printer, or print new tickets with only the newly added items for orders that have allready been printed.
